4th: (Sunday) - Visit to Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Bretton, near Wakefield WF4 4JX, leave at M1 junction 38 and follow the brown signs. Entry is free, but parking charges apply (1-2 hours £5.00, all day £8.00) including blue badge holders.
12th: Ashford in the Water Well Dressings. Meet at 7-30pm at the Bandstand by the Sheep Wash, Ashford-in-the-Water. There should be ample roadside parking at or near the meeting point. There are a number of well-dressings, and other places of interest to view in the village. Organiser: Keith Brown
19th: Hardwick Ponds walk: birds. Meet at the Ponds car park
26th: The Old Vicarage Garden, The Fields, Middleton-by-Wirksworth, Matlock, DE4 4NH. The garden is behind the church on Main Street, but park on Main Street before the village hall. Cromford Hill, onto Porter Lane, past the Wildlife Trust up street/ through churchyard. Cost £3.50 for the National Open Garden Scheme, drinks & cake available at extra cost.

10th: Harrisons, Sheffield 112-114 London Road S2 4LR. Starting at 7 pm. There is no charge, and we will be joined by members of Dronfield Camera Club.
17th: Summer Barbecue, at 94 Davids Drive, Wingerworth S42 6TS. Pimms on arrival. Anyone willing to provide desserts will be welcome. Anyone willing to judge the summer competition (we need three judges) please contact Chris.
24th: Visit to Southwell. Meet at the car park on Church Street next to the Minster: NG25 0HD or NG25 0HW, 7pm. Focus on architecture and details mainly from Medieval, Tudor and Georgian periods. Map and optional trail to be provided. Note: the Minster closes at 7pm so if you want to go round (highly recommended) get there early.
31st: Photo evening with Maureen Shearer's horses.
7th: Nature walk led by Neil Douglas. Meet as usual at the Hardwick Centre (National Trust) but at the top car park at 7pm. Bottom car park gates to Centre may be closed later on in the evening.
14th: Meet at the clubhouse. Results of the ten image competition; hand in your summer project images today.
21st: Night shoot - more details nearer the day.
27th (Saturday) to 1st September (Friday) - Hardwick exhibition, Park Centre, Hardwick Ponds, 10.00.-16.00. Setting up will take place the previous Friday. Volunteers required! If you'd like to help set up or staff the exhibition, please speak to Sheila.
28th: bank holiday - no meeting
31st (Thursday) 7pm - 8.30 pm: an evening at Hardwick; meet at Hardwick Ponds visitor centre. A chance to meet, catch up and see our annual print exhibition. Bring along a little finger food to share. Tea and coffee provided, but bring along your own libation if you wish. Charge £1.50 for the evening to
be donated to the National Trust to support activities with chIldren.
