November 2017 and December 2017 open competitions are now on the website

Wanted - a new webmaster

I've let the committee know that from the next AGM, or earlier if a replacement can be found, I'm giving up the post of webmaster, which I've held since 2011. Elaine and I are spending a lot of time away at the moment, with limited access to the internet. This means I cannot attend committee meetings or update the website as often as the task demands. Also, Clikpic needs a refresh, and now's the time, I think, to find a better and slicker web hosting service. Please contact a committee member if you're interested in the job. It's not very time consuming, but does require regular access to the internet, and some up-to-date web design experience.

Website updates etc.

I've now added the September and October competition successes, plus a new web page for the 2018 National DPI competition. Finally, I've added Steve Parker's name as vice chair, and Chris Lowe's name as secretary.

The competition entry form is now on the competitions page, in Word and pdf format.

I’ve now updated the website as follows:

1. Exhibition poster on the home page
2. Poster about the lecture on 11 September also on the home page
3. Full details of the 2017/18 winter programme etc. as supplied by Tina and Vic
4. A link to the lecturer’s feedback form on the winter programme page
5. A link to the judge’s feedback form on the competitions page

Graham Martin is photographer for the Hasland Theatre Company. He's sent us some images, which we've put in a special gallery in members' galleries.

A slideshow of the image of the year winners for 2016-2017 is now on the home page.

The summer programme is now on the website, as are the results of the image of the year competition. Winning images will be posted on the home page soon - watch this space.

Latest competition and members' images now on the website

Competition images from the November group A and December group B competitions are now on the website. I've also had images from John Hopkinson and John Bacon, who now have their own galleries; and more from Peter Jones. PLEASE size your images correctly! 72 dpi, max dimension 800px. You know who you are...

Michale Poole's images

New member Michael Poole has a website - I've included a link to it in the links section of this website. He has also sent me some images, which I've put in a special gallery for him in the members' galleries section.

Various website updates

I've updated the website with: a link to Michale Poole's website (on the links page); latest competition images; new competition entry forms (they're different for DPIs and prints now); Crediting Tina and Vicki with Programme secretary roles (at last!); Minor amendments to subscription details (thanks Les).

Winter programme and annual award winners now on the website

At last (apologies for the delay) the 2016-17 winter programme and 2015-16 award winners are now on the website.

The Summer 2016 programme is now on the website. There are some gaps - contact Chris or Margaret if you've any suggestions.

2015-2016 Image of the Year projected images are now on the website as a home page slide show.

February 2016 open competition successes are now on the website

I’ve updated the website with the February 2016 open selected images. We’ve now reached the limit on the number of images I can put on the website. That's not a problem, because the club competitions galleries currently go back to September 2012. In future, as I put another set of competition images on, I shall delete the oldest remaining set; so the next set to go will be October 2012.
